Customers' Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to see pandas?
Pandas are most active in the morning during feeding time (8:00-10:00 AM). We recommend early morning tours for the best viewing experience. Baby pandas are usually born in summer, so visiting between July and September offers the chance to see cubs.
Is Sichuan food very spicy?
Sichuan cuisine is known for its bold flavors and spiciness, but not all dishes are extremely hot. You can request mild spice levels at most restaurants. Try mapo tofu, kung pao chicken, and dan dan noodles as introductory dishes.
How far is Leshan from Chengdu?
Leshan is approximately 160 kilometers (100 miles) south of Chengdu, about a 2-hour drive by car or high-speed train. Our day tours include comfortable transportation.
